Iwona Koman is a Senior Administrator at our Polmont office in Falkirk, Scotland. She joined Champion Contractors as an Administrator in February 2022 and has provided our contractors with expert help and advice ever since.
Originally from Poland, Iwona relocated to Scotland in 2015. She is a certified bookkeeper (ICB), has an HND in Accounting and Finance, and is studying for the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification. Iwona's experience and qualifications, combined with her customer services background, make her the perfect person to support contractors who are Directors of their limited companies.
In her multifaceted role (exactly how she likes it), Iwona also helps guide our new umbrella contractors through their application process and any subsequent queries and questions.
When we asked Iwona about her role at Champion, she said, “I was looking for a job in finance where I could continue to learn and develop new skills whilst utilising the ones I already had. I could tell Champion was a great place to work during my interview and working here for the past two years just proved that.
I have always wanted to work in an office environment; I still remember when my Mom used to take me to her work (she was a legal secretary), and it was always so exciting for a little me.”
Iwona has come a long way, literally, since those days of going to work with her mom, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her on our team at Champion. Her dedication to doing the best and right thing for our contractors never wavers and epitomises everything we stand for at Champion Contractors.
When she's not working, you'll find Iwona learning about space and other fascinating things with her four-year-old son. She enjoys reading, learning about Japanese and South Korean culture and is an avid video gamer.
